Psyche Seas
Psyche Seas began in 2021, whilst living in Seaford, on the Nepean Highway.
Supported by a Professional Development grant from Frankston City Council, Bagryana Popov was my mentor during it’s development.
Set as a one night durational performance installation to be held at The Cube at the Frankston Arts Centre towards the end of 2021, it was postponed due to lockdowns, then cancelled due to the new vaccination rules.
It is waiting now, to find the right time and place to be shared.
The work is a combination of live and recorded movement, ritual and sound with video projection.
Themes stretch across an exploration of my Jewish grandmother’s journey through the war, to my relationship with the sea and everything in between.
Dates, Location and More info to come.
